Backstreet Boys tease ‘something big’ for their 30th anniversary

When the Backstreet Boys announced they would be bringing their ‘DNA World Tour’ to the UK two weeks ago, we thought THAT was massive news, but now, the group who have been around for 29 years, have teased ‘something BIG’ for their 30th anniversary.

Celebrating 29 together yesterday (20th April), the band known for their huge hits, ‘Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)’, ‘I Want It That Way’, ‘Shape of My Heart’ and ‘Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely’, shared a throwback photo on Instagram accompanied by a teasing caption: ‘Well, it’s our last year in our 20’s…’

They continued: ‘Apr 20 has become such a special day over the past 29 years and we’re stronger today than we’ve ever been because you continue to show up. Though everything’s been said and done… #BSB29

‘Should we plan something BIG for 30!? 😉’

Of course fans were quick to confirm they’d love to have something big to look forward to next year. One fan wrote: ‘Happy anniversary!! And u should definitely do a millenium 2.0 for 30 years!!❤️❤️❤️’, (sic) another commented: ‘Well you know that my answer is YES!!!🍾🤩🥳❤️ Happy 29 years to my constant happy place!!! I love you @backstreetboys ❤️❤️❤️❤️’.

The Backstreet Boys are currently on their ‘DNA World Tour’ which was delayed, like many, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. The band started in Las Vegas and will be continuing across the US before coming to Europe.

The group last performed for audiences in Europe in 2019, selling over 350K tickets, and will be returning to the UK for one night in London. They will be performing at The O2, London on 6th November 2022 and tickets are available to buy now from Aloud.com.
