Viewers of the hit singing competition are slamming Gwen as they are frustrated by an ongoing habit she has with contestants on the show. During Monday’s brand new episode, fans were on the edge of their seats as judges were instructed to pit two of their team members against each other.

The new duos were then asked to sing the same song together with judges choosing one singer as the overall winner for the challenge – a decision that Gwen took her sweet time picking.

One fan of the show took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their irritation with Gwen’s constant difficulty with making quick decisions on the series. The viewer wrote: “Sick of Gwen never making a choice, didn’t miss her at all.”

The 54-year-old singer recently made her return to the show as a singing coach for the 24th season after departing the show after season 20. Gwen’s comeback follows her husband Blake Shelton deciding to step down from The Voice after 12 years of hosting the show. The famous country singer said that he made the decision to leave as he wanted to focus on making more time for his family and becoming a better stepdad to his step-children.

But as Gwen takes the stage alongside judges John Legend, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire fans have been calling for her to be removed. In addition to slamming her for her show decision-making, others have called her out for “sucking up” to fellow judge Reba with viewers saying she is “all over Reba” and it is “not funny” and “quite exhausting” to watch.

One fan wrote: “Catching up on #TheVoice and I’m giggling. #GwenStefani is The BEST.” Another agreed: “Your coaching style comes thru on screen…from technical details to emotive movement and lyrical understanding and process…you’re doing a great job. We see it!” And a third gushed: “Ugh if I could sing I would totally pick team Qwen!! Such a fashionistaaa, a queen and great coach!!!”
