Price is Right fans are voicing their grievances with show host Drew Carey and an annoying habit they felt he exhibited during a recent Jackpot episode special.

Fans of the daytime game show are never shy of voicing their opinions about what happens on episodes, from painful blunders and stupid answers during puzzles, to dramatic reactions after major wins.

However, in one instance, the reactions were focused more on Carey than the player playing the game.

During the Jackpot special, a player named Carlos played the classic favorite game, Plinko.

He managed to win a huge prize at the end of it–but fans were distracted by Carey’s actions.

In a clip from the episode shared to Instagram, Carey is seen telling Carlos that the big prize was upped to $100,000 — and repeatedly used a phrase as he reiterated where the slot was.

“$100,000 right in the middle. 100 grand right in the middle,” he says.

As the game continues and Carlos places his chips on the board, Carey repeats the phrase several times

“Get to the middle, get to the middle, get to the middle,” he said as the first chip dropped, before again saying “100,000 right in the middle” two more times before the third and final chip was dropped — with another utterance right before it landed in the center spot, rewarding Carlos with $100,000.

Fans commented on the video to share their annoyance that he repeated the phrase at least eight times.

“Drew really need to stop saying RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE when Plinko is playing,” a fan wrote.

However, another pointed out that Carey isn’t the only one to do it, as former host Bob Barker also did it.

“It’s his job! “ they wrote. “Bob Barker did the same! They have to keep the audience engaged.”
