‘The Price Is Right’ fans stunned as 2 contestants score rare move twice

It was a historic day on “The Price Is Right.”

Fans of the classic game show were left shocked when 2 contestants both spun $1 on The Big Wheel twice, reported Yahoo Entertainment.

Contestants at the Big Wheel are given two chances to spin it in hopes of adding up to $1. If they are successful, contestants are awarded $1,000 and a bonus spin. If they land on $1 during the bonus spin, they’re given an additional $25,000.

While this is extremely rare, two different contestants achieved this on the same day.

Contestant Kira Thomas was first up and landed on 20 cents and 80 cents to reach $1. After earning the extra grand, she took the bonus spin and landed on $1, which gave her another $25K.

During a special episode of “The Price Is Right at Night” later that day, contestant Jack Zager pulled almost the same exact move. Zager landed on 40 cents and 60 cents to win the $1,000 and bonus spin. Upon landing on the $1 as well, Zager earned the $25,000 prize.

Diehard fans who watched both episodes were quick to express their delight and disbelief.

“I’m watching nighttime #PriceIsRight and it’s the second person today two hit 1$ on the wheel! Whether it’s fake or not I’m so happy for them 25,000 is pretty nice!” wrote one viewer.

“2 people spun $1 TWICE today! There’s no way thats happened b4,” added another.

While the double win is rare, it has happened before.

Back in 2017, two contestants landed on $1 twice and earned $35,000 each, according to the outlet.

What made the wins extra special this time was that they occurred during a rare day that had a daytime and evening version of the show.

In the end, both Thomas and Zager went on to their respective Showcase Showdowns, but ended with different outcomes.

Zager’s luck appeared run out as he overbid his showcase by a mere $32, while Thomas won $54,549 worth of prizes, including a new car.
