According to the newest edition of OK! Magazine, Brittany Kerr, Jason Aldean’s wife, has been trying to be besties with Carrie Underwood for years — but the country star is not having it. Scroll through to find out why!

While we can’t be certain exactly why Carrie and Brittany have never hit it off, it may have to do with the fact that Jason cheated on his now ex-wife, Jessica Ussery, with Brittany back in 2012.

The pair was caught kissing in a Hollywood bar while the country star was still very much married to his high school sweetheart. Jason and Jessica share two daughters together, Keeley, 15, and Kendyl, 11.
