Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’s Vanna White turns down Kyle Brandt’s advances after NFL host’s ‘painful’ attempt to flirt
SPORTS host Kyle Brandt has attempted to win Vanna White’s heart in a cringe-inducing moment on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.
While competing on Wednesday’s episode, he delivered a real doozy of a pickup line blindsiding the iconic letter-turner.

During his contestant interview, the co-host of Good Morning Football made his intentions abundantly clear, while also making it clear he’s married.
He began: “Pat, I’m thrilled to meet you, but Vanna, let’s just put the cards on the table.”
Vanna, 66, who dazzled in a glittery gold dress at the puzzle board, was taken aback, not knowing what to expect.
Kyle continued: “I say this respectfully: you’re a TV legend, my wife is here.
“You were my boyhood crush. I love ya.”
“For many years of my life, you were the puzzle I wanted to solve.”
Vanna laughed nervously and looked directly into the camera, bluntly exclaiming: “Wow!”
Kyle continued talking his talk, asking: “Do you have any advice for me today, Vanna?
“I believe you control the board. I love you, Pat, but to me, this is a Vanna show.”
‘KEEP ME OUT OF IT!’
Vanna let him down easy on his flirty offer while keeping it professional, offering Wheel of Fortune game tips.
She said: “Well, thank you for those kind words, um…”
“Buy vowels, pretend like you’re in your own living room.
“Just concentrate on the puzzle board- Not me!” she hilariously quipped, waving her hands.
“Okay? Keep me out of it; think of the puzzles.”
‘THIS IS YOUR LINE?’
At that point, Pat Sajak, 77, had to get in edge-wise while the other two players were cracking up by the wheel.
The longtime host repeated Kyle’s pickup line back to him in disbelief.
Pat said: “‘You are the puzzle I wanted to solve?’ This is your line?”
Kyle spun back: “It just came out. Did I hit bankrupt, Pat?” implying he struck out with Vanna.
Pat joked he was getting subbed out of the game, concluding: “We have another celebrity available.”
FANS REACT: ‘THE AWKWARDNESS…’
Viewers spun to X in a frenzy where one person posted: “Shoot your shot!”
Another wrote: “I’m dying over here, even though you’re a Bills fan we can hang out any time lol.”
“And his wife is in the audience!” wrote a third fan, as a fourth posted: “Bro really sent the invite out for the three-way fun lmao.”
A fifth defended: You got to say what a couple of million guys wanted to say.”
A sixth wrote: “The secondhand awkwardness I felt watching this… I hope I don’t make the same mistake if I ever meet Maggie Sajak.”
A seventh wrote: “Watching this was uncomfortable. Hilariously awkward. Love it.”
Kyle won the episode with $55,000 – before the second of two special bonus rounds – for his charity of choice.
Meanwhile, Vanna is off-the-board dating-wise, boasting a boyfriend of 12 years in John Donaldson.
She shares daughter Gigi, 26, and son Nikko, 29, with her first and only husband – restaurant owner George Santo Pietro.
Celebrity Wheel of Fortune airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC and Hulu.
