’The Price Is Right’ Fans Want Creepy Game Cut, Why?
The Price Is Right will soon be back for another, brand-new season. Before it returns, though, many fans are begging Drew Carey to get rid of one creepy game. So, what are viewers saying?
The Price Is Right Has A Variety Of Unique Games
Whenever most people think about The Price Is Right, one of the main things they think about is making it all the way to the end with the Showcase Showdown. Before anyone gets there, however, they have to succeed at all of the mini-games leading up to that.
The Price Is Right has introduced some memorable, and even iconic mini-games over the years. When you have been on the air as long as this game show has, that’s a lot of history, full of unique games leading up to the big prize. For the most part, viewers love all of these games along the way.
Viewers Beg Drew Carey To Get Rid Of One Game, Why?
As much as The Price Is Right viewers do love the mini-games, there are some that completely miss their mark. In some cases, audiences want certain games completely removed from the lineup. In fact, this happened recently, with outcry from viewers over it.
It turns out, viewers want The Price Is Right producers and Drew Carey to completely do away with a game called Rat Race. In this game, five mechanical rats of different colors are wound up and placed on a track. Contestants have to correctly guess the price of grocery items for the chance to pick rats of different colors. The more rats they have in the race, the more chances they have to win.
The Price Is Right: Fans Want Game Axed Before New Season?
Currently, The Price Is Right is airing reruns. Season 53 of the popular game show will air later in the fall. However, before it does, viewers want Rat Race out of the lineup of potential mini-games to play.
One viewer said: “I don’t understand Rat Race, and it creeps me out … I don’t think she won the car, but they gave it to her – I know Drew reads this sub: Please retire Rat Race!”
Another commenter shared a similar sentiment, adding: “I used to work in an office that had a BAD rat infestation, and rats would run across the floor during the day! If rats are active during the day, it means there are so many of them, they have to work in shifts!”

It’s clear that more than a few people find Rat Race unsettling. So, it will be interesting to see if it’s still part of the show once Season 53 airs later in the fall.
