‘The Price is Right’ Sets Season 53 Premiere Date, Previews What’s to Come As Game Show Nears 10,000th Episode Celebration

Continuing to reign as the longest consecutively run game show in television history, get ready to “come on down” for brand new episodes of CBS’ “The Price is Right” when it kicks off Season 53 on Monday, September 23.

This season, several milestones are taking place, including host Drew Carey returning for his 18th season, plus male model James O’Halloran is marking his 10th anniversary at the game show in December. Meanwhile, the show itself will celebrate its 10,000th episode in February 2025.

Fans can also look forward to specially themed episodes, including Halloween (with some surprise guest stars), Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, “Galentine’s Day” and a unique “redemption episode” with former contestants returning to get another opportunity to play.

In addition to Carey and O’Halloran, announcer George Gray and models Rachel Reynolds, Manuela Arbeláez, Amber Lancaster, Devin Goda and Alexis Gaube are all set to return for the show’s new season.
