This is the heart-melting moment a Carrie Underwood super fan with cerebral palsy learns that he’s just won tickets to see the country star live.
Cameron Cowles, of Nashville, was surprised with the concert by his mother on July 29 where she said she called into a radio show and won the special tickets.
Cameron’s jaw drops in shock and his hands cover his mouth in disbelief as his mom shares the special news that he’ll get to see his favorite artist.
At the beginning of the clip his mother Elizabeth Cowles says: ‘Cameron you’re not going to believe what happened to me today. I was sitting at work and I was listening to the radio…so I called the number…’
Cowles is pictured wearing glasses and a red top in a restaurant, oblivious to his mom’s upcoming announcement.
‘I was telling her about you and Amber and everything and you’re not going to believe what this lady told me. She said “Are any of you Carrie Underwood fans?” and I said oh Lord yes, my son is a super fan. I said he knows everything in and out about Carrie Underwood, you would be amazed,’ she said.
‘She said you let your son know that you’re going to be able to take him to see Carrie Underwood at the Opry August the 10th,’ she added.
Cameron’s eyes open with shock and he gasps in disbelief. He then slams the table with glee he repeating ‘Oh my God!’ with the biggest smile.
‘That’s in two weeks! That’s awesome,’ Cameron gushes.

And the surprise only got better.
After his story went viral the workers at the Grand Ole Opry, a country music venue, invited Cameron and his mom for a backstage tour prior to the singer’s final performance on Friday.
As an extra surprise they got to meet the American Idol star herself in the dressing room where Cameron and Carrie hugged and sat down for a chat.
Then Cameron and his mother headed to the venue seats to enjoy the singer’s performance.
The greatest surprise of all was Carrie’s special shout out to Cameron about four minutes into her concert.
After the concert Cameron’s mom shared her thanks on Twitter.
‘Shout out to @OnAirAsAmy @98WSIX @carrieunderwood @opry for making my sons dreams come true!!! Meeting Carrie has been his dream since he was six years old!!! #CameronMEETSCarrie #OVERJOYED #BlessedMomma,’ she wrote.
