Avril Lavigne debuts NEW romance as she passionately kisses mystery man in Lake Como – one year after THAT Tyga split

Avril Lavigne was seen passionately kissing a mystery man in a boat in Lake Como, Italy.

The 39-year-old singer locked lips with her boat date on Thursday afternoon in the stunning destination.

The rock star tried to keep a low profile, opting for a baseball cap worn low over her eyes.

The star left her long blonde locks loose while rocking a black and white graphic T-shirt with a eyelet maxi skirt.

The lovebirds were seen cuddling together as they took in the stunning Lake Como view.

Their sighting comes one year after she split from rapper Tyga.

Her mystery man wore a black and white top with black jeans, adding small framed sunglasses.

Avril’s blonde companion held up a glass drink as they cruised around the lake and exchanged passionate kisses.

The star had her arm around his shoulders and sat close to him at the back of the boat.

They were joined by another friend on their boat ride.

Her sighting with her new love interest comes one year after her split from Tyga.

 Avril and Tyga split in June 2023 after dating for almost four months.

Tyga famously gifted the Complicated singer a custom necklace, valued at $80,000 during their short-lived romance, which she got to keep, post breakup, according to People’s sources.

The rocker and the rapper were first spotted in February 2023, when they were spotted hugging outside of celeb hot spot Nobu.

They confirmed their romance soon after when they were seen kissing in Paris.

At the time, DailyMail.com exclusively reported that Avril ‘didn’t want to be tied down’ in a relationship with the rapper – who she only ever saw as a ‘rebound’ in the wake of her messy split with ex-fiancé, Mod Sun.

‘It came down to this. Avril didn’t want to be locked into anything. Tyga was a rebound and he helped her get away from her toxic relationship with Mod Sun,’ a close pal of Avril tells DailyMail.com exclusively.

In February 2023, Mod Sun, 36, said he was ‘blindsided’ by Avril’s decision to pull the plug. That same week, Avril was spotted out with the Tyga – leading some to believe that she cheated on Mod with the rapper. However, the source insisted that this wasn’t the case.

‘Avril didn’t cheat on Mod. She was simply over his BS and Tyga was an easy distraction,’ the insider shared.

Avril confirmed in March 2023 she had moved on with rapper Tyga, after her split from fiancé Mod Sun, who she got engaged to during a March 2022 trip to Paris.

Despite the reported issues in their relationship, a representative for Mod Sun described the split as if it came out of the blue, and claimed Avril ended things while he was away after starting his current tour.

‘They were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour so if anything has changed that’s news to him,’ they claimed at the time.

The former couple were engaged for 10 months after meeting while recording their 2021 duet Flames.

Avril was seen on a friendly night out with the rapper Tyga just as the news broke, though they were reported to have been pals for some time.

Avril and Tyga then appeared to confirm their romance days later as they shared a kiss at the Mugler x Hunter Schafer Party during Paris Fashion Week in March 2023.

The Love It When You Hate Me singer previously divorced Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger in 2015 after two years of marriage, and she divorced Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley in 2010 after three years of marriage.
