The Floor’s third episode premiered on Tuesday, January 16.

The show debuted on Tuesday, January 2 at 9 p.m., 8 p.m. CST.

Tuesday’s are the only day the series airs, with which some fans have taken issue.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans are begging Fox executives to air The Floor all week long.

“Ugh!!! I wish #TheFloor came on every day. It’s so fun!!!,” one fan wrote on the social media platform.

A second fan agreed, replying with “same.”

One fan admitted: “I love #TheFloor. I wish it was like Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Every night for a week or two straight.”

While some fans desired for The Floor to come on nightly, there were some who were okay with it being a few times a week rather than just once.

“I wouldn’t go every night but 2 or 3 times a week is a good idea,” a fan commented.

“The show is already done taping, I assume, and making it a month long event makes it more interesting to the viewer.”

FACTS ABOUT THE FLOOR

The Floor involves 81 contestants who compete against each other.

Its description on its website states: “‘The Floor’ is a trivia battle in which 81 contestants stand on 81 squares on a massive game show floor, competing for a whopping grand prize.”

According to Deadline, the LED floor is split into 100 equal squares, with “each representing its own field of knowledge.”

The outlet continues: “The first challenger, selected at random, must choose one of his or her neighboring opponents to go head-to-head in an epic quiz duel in the opponent’s category.

“The winner takes over the loser’s square, gaining valuable ground as they expand their territory, while the loser exits the game.

“The winner must then choose – do they continue on and attempt to secure another square? Or do they let The Floor choose a new challenger?”

In late 2023, the network released The Floor’s Official Trailer in which the show is referred to as “the most epic game show ever created.”

GRAND PRIZE

The Floor’s contestants are competing for a large sum of cash.

According to the show’s website, the winner receives “a whopping grand prize.”

Per Deadline, the “life-changing” reward consists of $250,000.

The outlet states: “The last contestant standing who gains full control over The Floor takes home a life-changing $250,000 cash prize.”
