Wheel of Fortune’s Pat Sajak makes cryptic political endorsement announcement leaving fans reeling
Pat Sajack plans to revealed who he endorsed during the 2024 presidential election on Friday. The former Wheel of Fortune host made the announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter
Pat Sajack plans to reveal who he voted for later in the week.
The former Wheel of Fortune host posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that he was planning to “break” a tradition and reveal who he endorsed this presidential election. Americans had the option to vote between former President Donald Trump and JD Vance, representing the Republican party, or current Vice President Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, representing the Democratic party.
He posted: “I have never endorsed a presidential candidate. However, I am breaking with that tradition this year. I will make my announcement this coming Friday at noon.”
His 372.1k followers weighed in and were left on the edge of their seats. One person posted: “That will likely be before the election results are in – so you’re good.” Another person wrote: “If you’re afraid to endorse publically, we know who you’re voting for.” A third user wrote: “Is this a joke? Why would you endorse a presidential candidate after the election is over?” A fourth posted: “Don’t wait to side with only winners or losers. Let it out Pat! You’ll feel better you did!”

Celebrities like Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Ricky Martin, Fat Joe, Lady Gaga and others have endorsed the current Vice President. Amber Rose, Elon Musk, Hulk Hogan, Kid Rock, Dr. Phil and others have endorsed the former President.
Kamala spent the day before elections in Pennsylvania for the final push. The eastern state, which is the fifth-most populous state in America, is one of the key swing states for the current election with 19 electoral votes. She also attended another rally and concert in the state.
Trump appeared at his closing rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He also visited Reading, Pennsylvania, while the Vice President candidate was speaking in Georgia.
More than 81 million Americans have already cast their ballots for this year’s election, which represents about half of the total ballots cast in the 2020 election. Americans will have the chance to vote for the next President of the United States up until Tuesday, Nov. 5.
