A former contestant on “The Price Is Right” is suing the show because he tripped on his way down to Contestants Row, tearing his Achilles tendon and suffering a herniated disk, TMZ.com reports.
Michael Lerner says he was running down the aisle after the announcer called his name when a cheering audience member’s folding chair tripped him.
Lerner says he has had multiple surgeries and suffered mental and physical damage.

A quick YouTube search reveals a number of examples of contestants falling on the jog down to Contestants Row.
The long-beloved television game show was taken to court in the mid-1990s when then-host and producer Bob Barker was sued by seven women for sexual harassment, wrongful termination and racial discrimination.
All the lawsuits, except for one, were settled out of court.
