Jeopardy! fans left stunned after realizing Ken Jennings’ ‘incredible’ connection to The Price is Right host Drew Carey

HOSTS Ken Jennings and Drew Carey have surprised game show fans with a huge connection.

Along with the obvious of the duo both leading their own game shows, the two were also born on the same day.

Both The Price is Right star and Jeopardy! host share a birthday on May 23.

The Whose Line Is It Anyway? host turned 66 on Thursday, while the latter reached a milestone year and turned 50.

Many fans discovered the news as the respective game shows celebrated the hosts’ birthdays on social media.

On Instagram, the Price is Right account shared: “Happy birthday to the host with the most and one of the best in the business, [Drew].”

“50 looks good on him,” the Jeopardy! account wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Ken was in for a big surprise when he walked onto the #Jeopardy! stage today,” the account tweeted.

“Join us in wishing him a happy birthday.”

In one of the snapshots, Ken held up his birthday cake, which was decorated with cookies.

He flashed a smile at the camera while carrying the plate.

BIRTHDAY BOYS

Fans jumped to the comments section and celebrated the stars on their special day.

“I was today years old when I learned that Drew Carey and Ken Jennings share the same birthday,” one shocked fan shared.

“Kind of incredible that the hosts of the two most popular and well-known game shows have the same birth date,” another fan added.

“Drew Carey and Ken Jennings were born on the same day 16 years apart,” a third fan realized.

“Ken Jennings and Drew Carey on the same day? That’s incredible. Happy Birthday to the both of ya!” a fourth person cheered,

“I didn’t know Ken shares a birthday with Drew Carey from The Price Is Right,” a commentator chimed.

DISSING DREW

Unfortunately, Drew didn’t have the best birthday possible this year.

During his big birthday episode on Thursday, one contestant left him looking quite offended.

Just minutes into the broadcast, The Price is Right announcer George Gray joked that they might have to end the episode early due to the player’s snub.

Contestant Jeffrey wore a T-shirt that read: “2024 with the soon-to-be legendary Drew Carey.”

He dropped his smile and turned away after reading the T-shirt.

“Soon to be legendary?” Drew asked.

After realizing that the TV star seemed a bit hurt, Jeffrey awkwardly laughed and clapped as he tried to hide behind Drew.

“That’s our show! Good night, everybody!” George jumped in and joked.

“That’s a wrap,” Jeffrey waved to the crowd to ease the awkward moment.
