Wheel Of Fortune: Was Pat Sajak Bullied In To Retiring?

Wheel Of Fortune fans are still fuming over Pat Sajak’s exit from the popular game show after 41 seasons along side Vanna White.

Pat Sajak’s retirement didn’t exactly seem like his idea, and now as Ryan Seacrest’s big debut nears, more details are coming out about Sajak’s exit.

In June 2023, Pat Sajak made the official announcement on the Wheel Of Fortune Instagram page.  The beloved host explained to his fans, “Well, the time has come.  I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last.” 

After Pat Sajak’s announcement, it was later revealed that American Idol host Ryan Seacrest would be replacing him.

The Shocking Wheel Of Fortune Exit

Obviously after 40 years on the Wheel of Fortune stage, they couldn’t just fire Sajak and bring in younger blood.  Technically Pat did leave on his own terms and “retired.” 

According to a new report from Closer Weekly, retiring wasn’t his idea and Pat received a lot of pressure from the network to step down.

After months of speculation about the shocking Wheel Of Fortune change-up, a source near the situation is telling all.

Closer Weekly’s insider explained, “Pat’s clearly resentful of the way he was treated and then kicked off the show.  It seemed like a forced retirement, at least that’s what people were picking up.”

Pat Sajak Won’t Be Giving Ryan Seacrest Any Tips

The insider went on to say that Ryan Seacrest is desperate to get the host’s seal of approval so that he can win over the fans.  But, Ryan could be waiting a while and might not want to hold his breath.

Apparently, Sajak is a little bitter and has no interest in building a rapport with his replacement or giving him any tips.
