Drew Carey Brings Up A New Contestant On The Price Is Right

Drew Carey got a chance to share the stage with a new player this week on the popular game show. Of course, the big draw for a game like The Price Is Right is that anyone in the audience has the chance to “come on down” for some big money. However, Drew noticed something else about a player recently.

One player had the exact same name as him, kind of. After the bidding was won, a new contestant came up onto the stage with the name “Carey” on his name badge. Drew saw this and, smiling, started up some banter with the contestant.

“I love your name,” he said, as he shook hands with the older man, asking, “What’s your last name?” The man responded his name was Carey Klingfas. Drew kept the humor going when he mentioned that they could get married.

He said they would be “Drew Carey Carey Klingfus.” The contestant laughed as well. When the show shared this moment on Instagram, announcer George Gray played the moment up as well, calling them “love birds.”

This then led to Carey Klingfus getting a chance to play the game Freeze Frame, which gave him a chance for a special vacation win if he chose the right four numbers that matched the cost of the trip.

Carey Wins A Big Vacation On The Price Is Right

Carey then played the Freeze Frame game. He turned to the crowd and let them tell him what to do with the spinning numbers, and when he stopped the wheel, he got the big win. He won a big trip to Playa del Carmen in Mexico.
