Mayim Bialik makes $h0cking Jeopardy! confession after being fired from the show

Former Jeopardy! host Mayim Bialik has reflected on her time working on the popular game show and admitted she would be open to making a return after being fired

Mayim Bialik has admitted she would be open to returning to Jeopardy! after she was fired from the show last year.

The Big Bang Theory actress was axed last December, having hosted Jeopardy! alongside Ken Jennings since 2021. The show recently wiped all trace of Mayim from their website, with fans assuming that was the end of her connection to the hit game show.

However, Mayim has said there are no hard feelings and admitted she is still a Jeopardy! fan. She explained: “I’m definitely still a fan of the show and very honored that I was nominated for an Emmy for my work there.”

Mayim was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Host For A Game Show in 2023. She continued: “That is something that I got to change my bio, that I was nominated for Jeopardy.”

Speaking to Fox News about a potential return, Mayim added: “So, yeah, it’s something I’m still very proud of. And yeah, we’ll see what happens this season.”

She’s previously shared positive words in regards to Jeopardy!, telling Digital Journal: “It was great. I loved my time on ‘Jeopardy.’ For me, that was the best job I’ve ever had. I definitely miss it and the intellectual environment.”

Mayim announced her Jeopardy! axe in an Instagram post shared back in December. She wrote: “Sony has informed me that I will no longer be hosting the syndicated version of Jeopardy!.

“I am incredibly honored to have been nominated for a primetime Emmy for hosting this year and am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the Jeopardy! family. For all of you who have supported me through this journey and to the fans, contestants, writers, staff of America’s favorite quiz show, thank you.”

The official Jeopardy! account then released a statement which read: “Mayim Bialik has announced she will no longer be hosting the syndicated [or nightly] version of Jeopardy!. We have made the decision to have one host for the syndicated show next season to maintain continuity for our viewers.”
