‘Price Is Right’ fans were $h0cked when this family scored big
One family scored all three of the top prizes on “The Price Is Right,” and fans can’t get over how lucky they were that day.
During “The Price Is Right” primetime holiday special on Tuesday night, the Derricks family found themselves winning big and taking home three different cars.
During the Triple Play, the family won a Volkswagen Jetta, a Jeep Cherokee Latitude Crossover, and a Cadillac CT4 Luxury. The cars totaled around $83,735 altogether.
Fans immediately took to social media with their shock and awe, in states of disbelief that the family could win all three cars over the course of one game.
“Wait, they’re really giving this family 3 cars???” one user wrote, while another one chimed in, “Honestly, watching people win on price is right is so nice – pure joy.”
And while most people who had something to say about the family were kind about their big win, some were clearly not in the Christmas spirit, writing that they hoped each family would win one car rather than one family winning three.
“The Price Is Right at Night” special saw many families winning big. And while the Derricks took home the jackpot with 3 whole cars, the Roy family also took home a solid $25,000 while the Flowers took home $102,478 in prizes by the show’s end.
Overall, many viewers were happy to see so many families win big this holiday season.
