Reba McEntire’s ex-husband Narvel Blackstock marries her former friend as singer reveals she’s ‘open to third marriage’

REBA McEntire is truly a survivor.

Her ex-husband, Narvel Blackstock, has moved on with another woman, who was once the country singer’s friend.

Reba, 69, was married to Narvel, 67, from 1989 to 2015.
But, the two moved on and now Narvel has married Reba’s ex-friend, Laura Stroud.

The wedding took place at The Hermitage in Nashville, Tennessee, over the weekend, according to InTouch.
Reba and Narvel’s son, Shelby, 34, was in attendance.
He is their only child.
However, she was a step-mother to Narvel’s children from another marriage – Brandon, who is Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband, Chassidy, and Shawna.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were also there, as Blake, 47, married Narvel and Laura.
Reba and Gwen, 54, were coaches on Season 24 of The Voice together.
Not much is known about the new spouses’ relationship, but a source told the outlet that they have been together for a longtime.

They also said that Laura used to be close friends with Reba.

After Reba’s split from Narvel, she found love again with current boyfriend, Rex Linn, whom she has been dating since 2020.
Rex, 67, is best known for playing Sergeant Frank Tripp on the CBS drama, CSI: Miami.
He is also currently starring in the comedy, Young Sheldon.
Reba’s ex’s marriage comes just days after the country singer revealed that she is open to being wed again.
“If that’s something he feels totally strong about, that’s fine with me,” she told E! News on Sunday.

“He’s never been married before. So, if he wants to experience that, I’m OK with that.”
Aside from Narvel, Reba has been married one other time.
She was married to steer wrestler, Charlie Battles, from 1976 to 1987.

Reba told the outlet that she is “truly committed to Rex” even though she “doesn’t have much faith in being bound by a piece of paper or ring,” after her second marriage dissolved.

Reba told E! News that she and Rex have known each other since 1991.
However, they fell out of touch, but then reunited in 2020.
She was guest-starring on an episode of Young Sheldon and he invited her to dinner.

However, the singer was too tired, but was in Los Angeles the following week and they met up.
“I don’t know what it was, but timing is everything,” Reba shared.
“It was just like a magnet. I had to get in there and see him.”
She said that they have been inseparable since June 2020.
