Reba McEntire Gushed About Her Magnetic Relationship With Rex Linn & We’re So Happy for Her

While Reba McEntire and her boyfriend Rex Linn might not be one of the most long-withstanding couples in Hollywood, there’s something about their connection that has us blushing. After all, The Voice coach couldn’t stop gushing about Linn in a recent interview.

Talking to E! News, the country legend looked back at their history together. “Rex and I have known each other since 1991 and we have been friends, stayed in communication throughout the years,” she remembered. In 2020, following her guest appearance in Young Sheldon, in which Linn stars, the two went out on their first date together.

“I don’t know what it was, timing is everything,” she continued. “It was just like a magnet.”

Soon after their date, however, the COVID-19 pandemic began and the two spent months without seeing each other again. “We didn’t get to see each other from January ‘til June 16, but we created an intimacy by texting and talking over the telephone that we wouldn’t have gotten if we’d have been together all of that time,” she said. “It was a great way of finding out about each other without ever touching.”

From their second date onwards, they knew it was the real deal. “We’ve been pretty much inseparable ever since June 16 of 2020,” she said. How adorable!

As for what makes Linn the guy for her, McEntire had a long list of attributes. “He is a very caring, down to earth, funny individual,” she said. “He’s got a very witty sense of humor, very creative and I make him laugh and that’s what he said he’s always prayed for.”

When asked if she’d ever get married again, McEntire was surprisingly quite open to the idea. “I’m truly committed to Rex,” she explained. “So if that’s something he feels totally strong about, that’s fine with me. He’s never been married before. So if he wants to experience that, I’m OK with that.”

Previously, McEntire married Narvel Blackstock from 1989 to 2015 and Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987. Third time’s a charm?
