We wonder what Kelly Ripa would think of this …

In between his hosting duties on the radio, American Idol and Live with Kelly and Ryan, it’s hard to imagine Ryan Seacrest having any time to explore other career opportunities. Even still, his fans may have something new in mind for him.

The TV personality recently showed off his flair for cooking when he posted a series of photos on his Instagram. Displaying a full buffet of brunch dishes, he broke down his entire thought process for creating the healthy weekend menu.

“This weekend’s buffet 🍽,” he captioned the pics on July 31. “When I cook, I tend not to follow measurements. Instead, I work off a picture for inspiration and use my gut & palette to determine how the dish turns out (which means plenty of garlic and olive oil in just about everything).”

Lucky for us, he gave us his quasi-recipe for some of the dishes he shared with his followers.

“On the table we have a whole chicken marinated overnight in olive oil, lemon, and rosemary,” he continued. “I baked it and then finished it off on the grill. Then a pan of thinly sliced eggplant in a tomato sauce, with Ezekiel bread crumbs for crunch; it was all the flavors of an eggplant parmigiana without the cheese. Then at the end, we have a fresh local striped bass in white wine, with lemon, garlic, and capers.”

And if that wasn’t enough, Ryan had to give his followers an approach to making what he seems to think is the perfect summer fish. “I also wanted to do a simple tasty salmon this weekend. This one had parsley, garlic, and olive oil. I wrapped it in foil and cooked it on the grill. I had it with a kale salad topped with a tahini garlic lemon dressing. I toss it and then put [it] in the freezer for about 10 minutes so it’s served cold. Had it all with a side of black beans mixed with purple onion, cilantro, chopped green & yellow peppers, touch of sea salt, and olive oil. #food #yum #foodie #eats #delicious.”

Wow, now we’re really hungry — and clearly, we’re not the only ones. In the comments section of the post, fans quickly had ideas for what the host could be doing with his talent. “When is your cooking show 🥰,” one person asked. “Great Ryan! I see a “cook with Ryan” show in your future🤗 ,” another remarked. “You auditioning for a cooking show [?], lol. Looks great!” someone else wrote.

So, Ryan, when are you inviting us over for a meal?
