During the knockout episodes, two contestants from each team go head-to-head by singing covers of hit songs.

After the performances, the coaches make a tough decision on who stays and headed to the playoff portion of the singing competition show.

Meanwhile, the person who was not selected can be stolen by another coach.

When it came to Dan and Shay’s two teammates, Frank Garcia and Olivia Rubini, they put on show-stopping performances.

First, Frank took the stage to perform El Triste by José José which left coaches speechless.

John described Frank’s voice as “rich and robust.”

Reba couldn’t stop talking about how talented he was.

Chance The Rapper revealed that Frank wows the crowd every time he performs and revealed that it should be him who wins the knockout session.

Next, Olivia gave it her all with her rendition of Tiny Dancer by Elton John.

Reba and John revealed that they preferred her performance over Frank’s.

In the end, Olivia was the winner of the knockouts.

Unfortunately, Frank was eliminated from the competition, leaving fans upset.

On X, formerly Twitter, viewers didn’t hold back their harsh opinions.

“Why, Frank, why? That was beautiful and he totally killed it. Dan and Shay made their first big fumble. Sad to see him go. Bummer,” one fan said.
