Vanna White Shares Rare Photo of Lookalike Daughter

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors

Vanna White wowed Wheel of Fortune fans by sharing a rare photo of her daughter Gigi — who looks nearly identical to the TV icon.

“Happy 27th to my amazing daughter @gigisantopietro!” White, 67, captioned a side-by-side image of Gigi as a baby and as an adult via Instagram on Monday, July 1. “You are so beautiful, smart, kind and a talented artist! I love you Gigi! ❤️ #happybirthday #love #tattooartist #lincolntattoocompany.”

While Gigi’s eyes were obscured by sunglasses in the more recent photo, there’s no doubt that the 27-year-old tattoo artist shares a striking resemblance to her mom — and White’s followers were quick to notice.

“Looks a lot like you Vanna only darker features!” one person commented.

“Happy Birthday! She looks just like you, Vanna,” another wrote.

“Oh wow. She’s a young Vanna,” a third follower noted.

“Beautiful just like her Mama!!” wrote another.

White shares both Gigi and son Nikko with ex-husband George Santo Pietro, to whom she was married from 1990 to 2002.

In addition to her own children, White — who has helmed the puzzle board on Wheel of Fortune since 1982 — is particularly close with former cohost Pat Sajak’s 29-year-old daughter, Maggie. in fact, she even told E! News last year that Maggie would make “a good replacement if I can’t be there for some reason,” White noted of Maggie, whom she called “precious” and “beautiful.”

While the game show is currently undergoing major changes — Pat retired last month after more than 40 years at the Wheel — White told E! in 2023 that she’s excited for what’s to come with Ryan Seacrest taking over for Pat.

“He is a kind man. He is professional. He’s good at what he does. He likes to have fun,” White said of Seacrest, adding: “He even said to me, ‘I’m not trying to replace Pat by any means. I just want to go in and do a good job.’ So, that’s what he’s going to do and I think he’s going to be just fine.”
