During Friday’s episode, the commotion started when the Wheel of Fortune contestant Eric Peterson – a retired firefighter from Seattle, Washington – attempted to solve the Food And Drink puzzle.

The contestant called out the letters – C and H.

With one letter missing, Vanna paused in front of the board and waited for the contestant to come up with the answer.

Pat yelled: “You’re not going to move? You’re just thinking?”

Vanna – who wore a full-length satin dress with a slit and silver high heels – then rushed to the other side of the letterboard.

After Pat apologized, Eric finally answered: “Strawberry Stuffed French Toast.”

In the comments section, a viewer noticed the awkward moment and said: “Touching a video screen to reveal a hidden letter and wearing someone’s designs isn’t enough for Pat. He gotta make Vanna walk to the end every time.”

‘ALMOST THERE’

This is not the only time the legendary host showed off his mocking attitude.

During the installment on September 29, Pat made a lighthearted jab at the same participant.

The retired firefighter participated in the show’s Bonus Round and picked “Thing” as his category.

After being presented with the letters to begin the puzzle, Eric guessed the consonants and vowels, but only the letter “K” made it onto the board.

The 76-year-old host warned: “Obviously, it’s going to be a challenge.”

Eric blurted out: “A barrel full of monkeys,” as the buzzer sounded off.

The correct answer was: “A difficult uphill hike.”

Pat sarcastically joked: “Oh, you were almost there,” and laughed at the player’s left-field answer.

THE FINAL SEASON

Plans are already set in motion as the TV star heads toward the last episodes of Season 41.

In June, Pat announced his retirement after 40 years of hosting the popular game show.

Announced via Instagram, Ryan Seacrest, 49, will take over for Pat after his final season.

In mid-September, Vana signed her new contract and will remain on the puzzle board after her co-star’s retirement.

After lengthy salary talks, the hostess will continue on the beloved program through the 2025-2026 season, according to Deadline.

Although it is unclear how much the TV personality will be earning, TMZ reported she will receive a “substantial pay increase” with the deal.

Pat’s daughter, Maggie Sajak, 28, will continue as the show’s social media correspondent until 2025.
