Wheel of Fortune gets brutally slammed by Jeopardy host as Ken Jennings ‘chooses violence’
Jeopardy! fans were stunned this weekend when presenter Ken Jennings roasted rival game show Wheel of Fortune in a behind-the-scenes clip.
Jeopardy! contestant shows off his bizarre ability
Wheel of Fortune was slammed by Ken Jennings during an audience Q&A in a behind-the-scenes clip posted on Saturday.
The video was posted on Jeopardy!’s official Instagram page with the accompanying caption: “Ken chose violence today.”
In the clip, Jennings seems to imply that Wheel has much easier conundrums than his own fiendish game show.
Fans heaped praise on the show’s new host, who was already Jeopardy!’s most successful contestant ever before taking over from Alex Trebeck in 2021.
Taking questions from the audience, one man asked: “What’s it like hosting a show that you know all the answers to?”

Ken laughed and assured the fan: “It hasn’t happened yet.
“I don’t know. Maybe they’ll let me do Wheel someday, but…”
The audience let out a huge laugh and Ken added “No, I’m just kidding”, but the damage was already done.
Does Ken think Wheel’s puzzles are too easy?
Fans of Jeopardy! took the jab at its rival in good run and took to the comments to praise Ken’s quick wit and hosting skills.
“LOVE Ken….Perfect Jeopardy Host to follow Alex Trebek….And Fun,” one commenter said.
“I’ve said it once I’ll say it again!. Ken was an excellent choice as host!!” another replied.
A third said: “Ken is so smart and has the best humor!!!”
While another quipped: “Not him coming for Ryan [Seacrest]’s job before he even starts.”
In June last year, current Wheel host Pat Sajak confirmed he would be leaving the show at the end of its current season to be replaced by experienced presenter Ryan.
Viewers will have to tune in later this year to see how Ryan shapes up compared to Pat and his game show host rival, Ken.
