The Voice fans tell off Gwen Stefani over ‘infuriating’ behavior during season 24 finale

Tuesday evening The Voice viewers bashed judge Gwen Stefani over her “infuriating” comments and judging style during the season 24 finale of the singing competition

As the latest champion of The Voice was crowned last night fans called out judge Gwen Stefani for her behavior during the season finale.

During the final episode of the 24th season of the hit singing competition viewers had a few choice words for the 54-year-old judge. As Gwen and her fellow judges John Legend, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire shared their critiques at the end of the finalists performances, fans shared their annoyance at Gwen’s “infuriating” comments and judging style.

Following the final episode of the series viewers took to X, formerly Twitter, bashing the star for her feedback following the incredible performances claiming that they lacked originality and that she seemed to frequently repeat herself. And others were frustrated as they found the pop singer’s critiques to be too sugar-coated urging her to be more upfront like other outspoken judges such as Simon Cowell.

On Tuesday evening one fan posted on X: “Why do they cut to Gwen when it’s the same opinion every damn time?” And another added: “You grow and grow? Just say hey wasn’t your best, wasn’t a finale song, pull a Simon on them, they need to hear it geez.” And a third agreed: “Gwen don’t sugar coat the s**t damn.”

Gwen returned to The Voice for season 24 after appearing on the hit popular competition on-and-off since 2014. The mother of three made her debut as a judge during season 7 of the show and has since appeared for more than six seasons of the show and an advisor on two.

As this season comes to a close it has been revealed that Gwen will not be returning as a coach for season 25 of the show. Although she has not made an official statement about her departure, her name is not listed on the new coaches for the next season with many believing she is ready to head home and be back with her husband country star Blake Shelton and her three children.

Despite a string of hate from some viewers, others gushed over how beautiful Gwen looked in her pink Princess-like gown during the season finale and praised the energy and knowledge she brought to the season. On her latest Instagram post, one fan wrote: “You’re stunning!!! I loved every second of this season + you as the best coach!! I can’t wait to see what’s to come EEEE,” and another agreed: “Without Gwen, The Voice just wouldn’t be so specular.” And a third added: “Please come back to The Voice as soon as possible! I will miss you.”
