One recent contestant on The Price is Right managed to impress viewers with just how quickly they competed. During the game, they were even able to visibly impress some of the game show’s crew. Fans also praised the game, saying the player gave one of the show’s best performances.

The Bonus Prize Was A Trip To South America

During the recent episode, the contestant, known as Michael, played the Clock Game. During the game, the contestant needs to guess the price of two prizes in 30 seconds. They will be told to go higher or lower until they land at the right price. The contestant can also win a bonus prize if they correctly guess the price of the two prizes.

During Michael’s turn at the game, host Drew Carey told him, “Now, if you can give us both prices within 30 seconds, you win a first-class flight to South America. A dream vacation.” Michael appeared to immediately guess the price of the first prize, action cameras worth $550.

Michael’s quick first guess didn’t just impress the audience and viewers at home. Model Rachel Reynolds could even be seen holding her hands over her mouth in shock. Even Carey could be heard saying, “Wow! Wow!”

The second prize was two pairs of hiking boots, complete with a GPS device. As Carey jokingly told Michael, “Well, you got 29 seconds to give us this next one. Good luck.”

The Second Prize Proved More Of A Challenge

Michael wasn’t as lucky the second time around, as his first guess of $750 was incorrect. Told to go higher, a guess of $850 also proved too low.

When Michael guessed $950 and was told to go lower, he knew he as in the right ballpark. He then guessed the correct price at $940, with just five seconds to go. This won him the second prize and the trip to South America.

The Price is Right‘s official Instagram account also shared a clip of Michael competing on the show. The video was paired with the caption, “We’ve never seen a win this speedy!”

As noted by Monsters & Critics, fans were certainly impressed by Michael’s win. Some even believed his performance was one of the all-time best plays in the show’s history.

As one commenter wrote, “I have been watching this show pretty much all my life and I think this is the FASTEST time on the Clock Game! Wow! That was awesome!” Another also mused that, “That’s got to be the top 3 fastest time.”
