Ryan Seacrest Offers Big Tease At New ‘Wheel Of Fortune’
Ryan Seacrest begins his tenure as the Wheel of Fortune host in September. With that right around the corner, he is teasing fans with what they can expect when he takes over his new job. He
Here is what Ryan Seacrest shared with fans concerning the new Wheel of Fortune.
Ryan Seacrest Shows Off New Wheel Of Fortune
Pat Sajak hosted Wheel of Fortune for over 40 years. This means that Ryan Seacrest will have a lot to live up to. He knows it as well. “Pat Sajak is such a legend. He makes it look so easy and smooth and seamless. He’s remarkable,” Ryan previously said.

However, to replace Pat, Ryan realized he needed to make big changes on the show. Now, Ryan has used social media to share some of the changes he helped make. He started filming the season last month, and it premieres in September.
In a social media video, Ryan walked in and stood in front of the big wheel to give it a spin. He then announced the show would be back on September 9. There was a new set behind him, with bright colors and palm trees. The letter board was also changed, and it looks like a mix between the 70s and 80s boards.
It got fans excited:
“Let’s go Ryan Seacrest! I can’t wait to watch the first taped show of your era”
“I haven’t watched that show in 1 million years but I’ll watch it to see you”
Ryan Seacrest Expected To Raise Ratings Or Else
Ryan Seacrest has a lot to prove in his first season on Wheel of Fortune. The ratings have been down for the show, with it falling behind Family Feud. There is high hope that Seacrest can reverse that trend. His job might depend on it.
With the ratings falling in Pat Sajak’s last season, Ryan is expected to raise them. With his youthful excitement, there is a chance he could do so. However, if he doesn’t, he might be on a short leash.
With that said, if Ryan Seacrest is unable to raise the ratings and keep them up, there is someone the producers think will be able to take his place. Vanna White signed a new contract with a significant pay raise. If Ryan fails, Vanna might be the perfect person to step into the role.
Ryan Seacrest’s first day as the Wheel of Fortune host is on September 9. He filmed the episodes already, but this will be when fans will see the new show for the first time.
Are you excited to see what Ryan Seacrest can do as the Wheel of Fortune host? Do you think he will succeed as he steps into the role that Pat Sajak held down for years? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below
