Ryan Seacrest Announces New Children’s Book

Ryan Seacrest recently took to Instagram to share an update about a separate project he’s been working on. In the photo, Ryan sat next to his sister Meredith Seacrest Leach, and his niece Flora Marie Leach.

The post was made to announce his new children’s book, which he worked on with his sister. It is called The Make-Believers and it is scheduled to hit the shelves in October. Ryan added that the book is “Flora-approved.”

Meredith and Ryan first shared that they were writing a book together in March 2024. In a statement to People at the time, the brother and sister duo said the book was inspired by their own imaginations as kids.

“Growing up, my sister Meredith and I constantly used our imaginations to dream big and travel far,” the Wheel Of Fortune host wrote in the caption of his latest post. “Fast forward a few decades, we’ve written a picture book about using your imagination to propel you into the future of your dreams. Check out THE MAKE-BELIEVERS, on sale this October!”

Fans flocked to the comments to show support for Ryan Seacrest, but many people noted the similarities between him and Flora.

“Awww your niece is your twin! So adorable! Connie Seacrest must be so proud!” one follower commented. Several other people remarked on how much Flora has grown up. “Is that Flora!!??” one person wrote. “How did she get so grown up? This is too much!!” Another chimed in saying they “can’t believe how much Flora has grown” and wished Ryan well with his book.

Gearing Up To Host Wheel Of Fortune

In the past, the Wheel Of Fortune host has shared regular updates with Flora on his Instagram. Last December, he posted photos of her wishing her a happy birthday. “Being your FUNcle is the gift that keeps on giving,” he wrote in the caption.

Not only is Ryan Seacrest getting ready for his children’s book to come out, but he is also gearing up to become the new face of Wheel Of Fortune. He is slated to make his debut in his new hosting position in September 2024.

He has big shoes to fill. Pat Sajak hosted Wheel for more than 40 years before he announced his departure from the game show last June. Later that month, Ryan was confirmed to be Pat’s replacement.
