‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Player Upsets Fans In Heart-Wrenching Twist

In the latest episode of Wheel Of Fortune, the set was redecorated magically. Not only did the episode have a holiday flare to it, but it also incorporated a Disney theme as well. And while the scene was perfect, the show took a heart-wrenching turn leaving the audience and fans upset with the outcome.

Nicole Bodie Captures Wheel Of Fortune Fan’s Hearts

Although Pat Sajak only has a few more months on the show, he still knows how to pull on the audience’s heartstrings. On the December 13 episode of Wheel Of Fortune, after the introductions were made for the contestants, the fans quickly fell in love with one in particular. During her intro, Nicole Bodie talks about being the mother of one. But that wasn’t the part that captured the audience’s heart. Unmistakably, the fans adore her for her amazing backstory. As her story unfolded, fans began to see she not only liked Disney but had a truly emotional attachment to the brand. Amazingly, the woman standing before them has survived cancer twice. But in addition to that mindblowing feat, she talked about her mission to bring joy to others while she traveled through the health challenges.

Wheel Of Fortune Contestant Nicole Bodie Spreads Joy

While fans listened to the contestants, Wheel of Fortune host, Pat Sajak, used his prior knowledge to lead the discussion into an inspirational story. Furthermore, Pat says, “Mickey was involved in your treatments, want to touch on that?” In light of the topic, Nicole smiles and explains, “So I’m a two-time cancer survivor. During my chemo treatments, I wore mouse ears to start conversations and bring joy to people going through a hard time.” After sharing her experience, fans were rooting for her to take home a huge win. While she played an excellent game, she hit a bump in the bonus round.

But during the Wheel of Fortune bonus round, Nicole Bodie ran into a heartbreaking snag. As Nicole stood with her husband and Pluto nearby, she selected “Phrase.” Before starting she enter the round with $26,017. Notably, she had letter picks of “HGCO.” Additionally, she selects the letters: “RSTLNE.”  With that beautiful set up the puzzle only had three missing letters, reading: “_ _ ONG OTHER TH_NGS.” Then she worked through the puzzle and guessed, “Wrong Other Things…” However, to everyone’s disappointment that was not the correct answer, and unfortunately, the time ran out. Following the correct answer appears, “Among Other Things.”  Naturally, the play of events left the Wheel Of Fortune audience in shock. And everyone was extremely sad when Pat revealed the $40,000 missed prize on the card.
