Wheel of Fortune fans devise plan for Pat Sajak to reclaim hosting from Ryan Seacrest
Wheel of Fortune fans have devised a plan for Pat Sajak to sneakily take back the role of host on the show after admitting they don’t think he’s a good fit.
Since Sajak announced his departure from the game show last June, his fans have been worried about who will be capable of filling his shoes after four decades.
When Ryan Seacrest was announced as the new face of the beloved show, fans did not react well as they deemed him a ‘bad fit’ for the role.
Many fans even claimed that they will no longer be watching Wheel of Fortune once Seacrest takes over, despite many years of following the show.
After Sajak said his final goodbye on Friday, June 7, the time for Seacrest to take over is growing close.
The cult following of the show have drafted up a way for Sajak to sneakily reclaim the throne and take back his spot from the American Idol host.
On the eve of his big exit, fans took to X to brainstorm ideas for their favorite gameshow host to continue alongside Vanna White on the Wheel stage.
One person suggested: “I was thinking…what if Pat went on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune as a contestant after he retires.”

“He should do that and pretend to forget that he had retired and try to take the host’s position as a gag,” a second fan replied.
Fans also shared their sentiments about Sajak saying farewell to over 40 years of memories.
“I can’t even put into words how much I’m gonna miss you Pat. You started the show I was 12 and I’m now 53. Congrats on an amazing career. Wowza,” one person shared.
Another fan posted, “Thank you for everything. You meant so much to many generations who found comfort, joy, and even some education from such a great game show that had the perfect host to guide it.”
