The episode on which Truskett appeared aired on Monday.

She joined her family for a watch part to recapture the moments she was told to “Come on down,” and her success in the game.

Truskett was on a Spring Break trip to California with a group of friends when they decided to attend a taping of the popular daytime game show.

They wore matching shirts, hoping that someone from their group would get the opportunity to play. The thrilling invite came for Truskett.

“I was so terrified,” she said. “it was super scary, but super fun. All my friends cheered me on and I was running down. I hadn’t watched a ton of the show before so I was kind of nervous on how to do it all, but it went good.”

“Went good” is an understatement considering how the experience for Truskett went as the show went on. She won $1,000 at the wheel, setting up her appearance on the “Showcase Showdown.” In the final stage of the show, her winning continued. In all, Truskett won some Coach purses, a hot tub, a car, a jukebox, a record player, a couch, and a trip to Nashville.

She said she’s waiting for those prizes to be shipped. The car Truskett won was on backorder, so they wrote her a check for a car that she could pick out on her own.

Truskett had to keep her big win from being public knowledge until after the show aired on Monday, June 17.

“It was very quiet, very secret. If I did tell someone or it was out on social media, they would take it all away, which was hard because I have a big mouth,” she said.
