Pat Sajak calls Wheel of Fortune contestant ‘tragic’ after she fails at bonus puzzle

PAT Sajak has, once again, put a negative spin on a contestant’s bonus puzzle struggles.

On Thursday, Temika had a massive haul with a wildcard wedge, a vacation prize, and $44,690 as she headed to the bonus round.

Joined by Pat, 77, she chose the dreaded “Phrase” as her category and the letters “CFPOG.”

The three-word puzzle read: “OR_S’ ‘L _ E’ ‘_ _ G_C’, and the ten-second timer began.

Temika guessed: “Tragic? Don’t know!” and the timer ran out.

Pat joked: “It is tragic.”

“But it’s not tragic,” he explained, referring to the puzzle- “It’s magic.”

The full puzzle was revealed to be “Works Like Magic,” but Temika was a good sport keeping her smile.

“Apparently you smile all the time you fooled me with that one!” Pat joked.

She didn’t get an additional $40,000 from the glittery prize card, but Pat assured “she she had a big, big night!”

SAJAK’S SASSY SENDOFF SEASON

Pat Sajak has spun out plenty of harsh comments during his last season as host, according to fans.

Last month, Pat mocked a contestant who struggled with a puzzle, likening it to “pulling teeth.”

He sarcastically told another contestant who missed their bonus puzzle: “You were so not close.”

And recently, fans were stunned when Pat “disrespectfully” screamed “shut up!” at an overenthused contestant.

In the fall, the host gave it to the contestants after each made an incorrect guess on a puzzle.

He snarked to the player who solved it: “You were bound to get there eventually.

There are only so many words in the English language.”

“Aw!” another contestant could be heard yelling off-screen as the audience nervously laughed.

A winner from earlier this season exclusively told The U.S. Sun that he was outshining Pat with his charisma, causing the host to warn at a commercial break: “This is my show.”
