AJ McLean Wants Justin Timberlake to Consider BSB/NSYNC Reunion Tour
Backstreet might be back, but *NYSYC is still trying to figure it all out. While four members of the mega-popular ’90s boyband reunited for a set at Coachella with Ariana Grande, there was still one holdout. Due to scheduling conflicts, Justin Timberlake was unable to join Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick for the highly anticipated reunion. Not only are fans eager for more *NYSNC after the partial reunion, Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean is pleading for Justin to say “Bye, Bye, Bye” to his reservations and get the band back together.
During an appearance on E!’s Ladygang, AJ pitched the idea for a BSB/*NYSNC reunion tour and it sounds epic. “I think Justin should come back. One tour. All ten of us go out. Stadiums,” he says. “It would be the biggest thing since sliced bread. I think it’d be awesome. So dude, let’s just talk about it!”
Though there’s no confirmation about whether or not we’ll be seeing any more on *NSYNC (with or without JT), a source told Variety “there are offers” following the Coachella performance. Billboard also confirmed that JC, Chris, Joey, and Lance are “taking a look at a more prolonged return.”
“The four of them would be great,” Live Nation senior vice president of touring Brad Wavra told Billboard. “There’s no denying the talent that Justin has, but the four of them together proved it [at Coachella]: The music sounded great, they looked great, the fan response was awesome and I think that that would be the same all across America.”
What do you think? Are you ready for more *NYSNC?
