Miranda Lambert Breaks Into Tears On Stage Just Days Before Split Announcement – See The Weepy Video
Miranda Lambert doesn’t seem to be handling her divorce from Blake Shelton very well.
As the singer performed for fans at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Festival on Saturday, she was noticeably upset during her rendition of “The House That Built Me.”
During the ballad, Lambert broke into tears then quickly wiped them quickly away from her face telling the audience, “No one wants to cry in front of 10,000 people.”
The night before, her soon-to-be ex husband performed as well.
The couple announced their split in a heartbreaking statement on Monday.
“It is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately,” the country music superstars said in the joint statement to the AP after news broke of their shocking split. “We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
The once powerhouse duo was last seen together in April at the ACM Awards.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the couple had been dealing with issues related to Shelton’s drinking in recent months.
