The 67-year-old star quickly shut down a contestant’s answer, but viewers at home think her response should’ve been accepted.

During a recent episode of Family Feud, Steve said they asked 100 married men to name something they’d like to give their mother-in-law.

The host then asked two competitors to begin guessing the top eight answers.

A contestant named Rachel punched the air as she said, “A fist.”

Steve shook his head in surprise at her violent response as the incorrect answer buzzer sound played.

Her rival, Haley, also got buzzed, but her error was for not giving a response in time.

After a few other contestants were given a chance to guess, Rachel’s team won the chance to continue on with the category themselves, without their competitors.

Eventually, they had a couple of correct answers and a couple of wrong ones, and it went back to Rachel with two strikes against her team.

She told Steve, “I love my mother-in-law, let me just preface, before I say a word.”

He quickly shot back, “No, that’s OK, we ain’t here for that.”

Rachel then gave her guess, which was, “A piece of my mind.”

Unfortunately, the response was not up on the board.

The other team was then given a chance to take over the board, and after giving one correct answer, they were deemed the winner of that category.

The rest of the right responses were revealed, and “the finger” was shown to be up there.

This had fans at home angry as they felt “the finger” might’ve been what Rachel meant by her first guess of “the fist” or at least was in the same arena as giving someone a piece of your mind.

“I think The Finger could be considered giving her a piece of your mind,” wrote one upset fan on social media.

“In this context, ‘a piece of my mind’ and ‘the finger’ are close enough to give it to them,” insisted a second viewer.

“Shouldn’t ‘a piece of your mind’ and ‘your finger’ be considered in the same category,” wondered a third confused fan.

During the same segment, fans also said they didn’t understand how Rachel won the chance to guess first as it seemed Haley pushed the buzzer earlier.

“The other lady looked like she hit the buzzer first,” said one fan. “She not hit it hard enough?”

“Maybe I’m looking too hard at the video, but didn’t the other lady hit the buzzer first,” another viewer asked.

“The other woman hit the buzzer B4 her,” wrote a third online user. “Wtf??”
