Wheel of Fortune accidentally leaks another major feature of new set

After Wheel of Fortune already revealed a glimpse at their new set, a new photo has leaked another feature of what’s to come.

The iconic game show Wheel of Fortune is getting a facelift as it gears up for Ryan Seacrest’s debut as host, marking the start of a new era after Pat Sajak’s retirement in June.

Fans were given another peek of the revamped set when the show accidentally leaked the design of its new puzzle board on August 20.

The board now features a shiny gold-tiled border and sits on rounded stairs, replacing the old rectangular steps.

The leak came from a poster showing Seacrest alongside co-host Vanna White.

Fans took to social media to share their reactions, which were mixed.

One fan on X said: “It’s certainly… interesting, to say the least,” while another shared, “I miss the old one with Pat. Nothing will replace the original host.”

Meanwhile, some embraced the change, with one fan exclaiming: “I love it!”

This isn’t the first time the puzzle board has evolved.

In 2022, the show introduced a controversial new LED board controlled by LIDAR technology, replacing Vanna’s iconic letter-turning duties.

Executive producer Bellamie Blackstone explained: “The technology behind how Vanna interacts with it is something used in self-driving cars… It’s like a Wheel of Fortune version of an iPad.”

The new season of Wheel of Fortune kicks off on September 9, with a fresh set and a new host.
